The Mad Hatter is pleased to offer women’s and men’s vintage clothing, accessories, and items for the purse, pocket and dressing table. Our stock ranges from Victorian through the 1960’s, with some newer or replica items occasionally offered. You will find collectible wearables and wearable collectibles, from head to toe, from the skin out.

Vintage is fashion, but it’s also part of history. You might say we arrange ‘adoptions.’ Our goal is to find ‘homes’ for our selections. We’ve supplied vintage clothing and accessories to films, including ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula;’ ‘Titanic;’ ‘Wild, Wild West;’ ‘Haunted Mansions;’ ‘Peter Pan’ and others, and have many celebrities as clients.

We research and guarantee every item we offer, as to quality, condition and era; when necessary, we take care of minor repairs. In costume jewelry and hair combs or accessories, we replace stones when necessary. Items will be clean and ready to use unless otherwise stated; loose powder will be emptied from compacts & vanities. Every effort will be made to accurately and completely describe each item, using all our expertise and powers of observation. Most items will be described as to measurements rather than size, since there have been several changes in size standards in the US in the last sixty years.
